Are ProtectALL products toxic? Can they be used around children and animals?

Everything has a degree of “toxicity” (even plain water). Having said that, the Zoono formulation used in Protect24 and Protect30 has a very low toxicity - similar to Vitamin C. So it is fine to use around pets, plants, furniture and humans (both big and small).

Will Protect24 wash or rub off?

No.

The barrier remains on the skin for up to 24 hours and does not rub off with normal hand washing or drying.

Will Protect24 dry out my skin?

No.

Many other hand sanitisers work by utilising a concentration of alcohol of at least 60% which can dry out the skin and cause irritation, especially with prolonged use.

Do ProtectALL products work specifically on COVID-19?

Can I spray Protect30 around my kitchen?

The active ingredient in Protect30 and Protect24 is food and child safe. It has been approved for use in food preparation areas for sanitation as well as in medical areas. Two separate tests have been completed to EN Standard 14476; 2013+ A2:2019. The European standard applies to products within the medical area including hygienic hand rubs and wash, instrument disinfection by immersion and surface disinfection by wiping, spraying, flooding or other means.

I use lots of other household cleaning products. Won’t they give me some level of lasting protection?

A lot of people believe that their current household products provide them some level of ongoing antibacterial protection beyond the moment of application.

What they don't realise is that many disinfectants become inactive once the liquid is dry. That is, it is only effective at the time of the application. Once the treated surface is dry, bacteria can be reintroduced to the surface. In fact, under ideal conditions bacteria can grow and multiply every 20 minutes. It can then remain on surfaces from several hours to days. The bacteria living on contaminated surfaces has the potential to transfer to people through contact.

What is in the ProtectALL products?
